Volunteer

Mentoring

The Mentoring program is a partnership between the Alumni Association and Oakwood University's colleges or departments, matching alumni and students in mentoring relationships and connecting them to career enhancement opportunities. If you're interested in serving as a volunteer mentor to a student or request a mentor, click here (form).

Career Contacts

You can choose to be identified as a career contact within the Alumni Association's online career network and directory. As a career contact, you may be contacted by fellow alumni who have general career questions that relate to your profession and industry. Register or login to the site to update the business section of your profile and become a career contact.

Geographical Alumni Chapters

Alumni volunteers form chapters throughout the United States and the world. Chapters provide the opportunity to connect with alumni in your geographic area. Some groups are primarily social; others get involved in raising funds for OU scholarships, recruit area students, and more. Connect with your area Chapter contact for more information and to get involved.

Student Outreach Program

To ensure OU's tradition of excellence and diversity, reach out to high school and community college students in your local community. Please help recruit students to attend Oakwood College Days in the fall each year. For more information, click here.
